(Assignment 13) Florida low preforming schools near contaminated lakes
Purpose: I wanted to compile a list of places in florida that had low rate schools near contaminated areas.
This data set was created in partial fulfillment for the course requirement ESS 302/BIOL 302 - Geographic Information Systems taught at Drew University in Fall 2021.
Methods: I made this assignment in ArcGIS pro I got the data from cloud Portal.
I got 2 types of data one for Ground water contamination Areas and the other Low performing Schools.
I used Buffers for the contaminated waters to see the areas contaminated.
I cliped the Low performing schools to see what was inside the contaminated areas.
